San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers

I help greet and guide visitors, provide the public with informational materials to enhance visitor experience, and conduct independent research of tropical plants to answer visitor questions.

Explorit Science Center

I helped develop hands-on activities and programs to further natural science education for youth. My duties included acting as a teaching guide in science demonstrations and activities during public hours at the center and rehabilitating materials for exhibits and demonstrations.

UC Davis Department of Anthropology Museum

I was involved in photographing Native American basketry to support archival efforts, conducting literature searches to categorize and research artifacts, and assisting with maintenance of the artifact room.

Davis Arts Center

I helped with administrative tasks, assisted with fundraising events, and facilitated operations of the arts center. My duties included managing Blackbaud (database system geared towards organization of the center’s patrons), taking inventory of the center’s sale items, and supervising the ceramic painting room during holiday festivals and fairs.

I helped mount artwork, worked on exhibit changes, and conducted independent research on artworks and artists of the Beat Movement.

Global Public Health Brigades at the University of California, Riverside 

I designed flyers and posters, organized community outreach events, and organized fundraising events to recruit members to take part in student-led, international non-profit organization. We helped implement health education, construct infrastructures, and implement sustainable health practices, agricultural methods, and water resources in rural communities in Nicaragua.

I provided resources and guidance to first year undergraduate students of the College of Natural and Agriculture Sciences throughout school year. My duties included meeting with students to develop skills and strategies for coping with academic life and developing monthly reports each student’s progress.
